A Crown and a Curse

Well, here we are. My very first official blog post.
I’ve gone back and forth about what to write for this grand opening of my tiny blog kingdom, but in true LCB fashion, I decided to simply invite you in—no fanfare, just a little chaos and a whole lot of updates.
Let’s dive in.
The Corvus Crown
It’s hard to believe The Corvus Crown has already been out in the world for almost a month. My inbox is full of unboxing videos, glowing reviews, and messages that make me emotional at 2 a.m. (thanks for that). Every time I see one of you holding the book, tagging me, or sharing how much you love the story—I melt. So if you’ve posted or shared anything, please know how much it means.
Preorders have officially all been sent out (you absolute legends, thank you), and now the story is yours.
The Corvus Court
Book 2 of The Vyrelian Chronicles has officially flown the nest to my Street and ARC Teams—and wow, the early feedback has been overwhelming in the best way.
Let me warn you now: this book will tear your heart out and stomp on it, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. It just might not be the light you expected.
That’s all I’ll say for now. 😉
The Corvus Curse
Book 3’s first draft is DONE. Finished. Complete.…And now I’m staring at it like: do I make major plot changes? Do I let it breathe? Do I light it on fire?
Once I finish pondering (and panicking), it’s heading off to the incredible J.A. Azez (aka @juwisarchives—go follow her immediately). Shout out to her for being the editor we all need and deserve, because I have been stressed.
When Stars Court Shadows
You didn’t think that was all, did you?
When Stars Court Shadows is currently fighting to meet its release date of August 13. Will it make it? I’m trying my best, truly—but as always, I’ll keep you updated if that date shifts. (Sometimes the stars are moody.)
This romantasy project has my whole heart: celestial magic, haunted kings, political marriages, ancient bonds... it's all in there. It's worth the wait, I promise.
The Line of Ash
Now this… this is the project I’ve been pouring myself into for the past year when I'm not drowning in Corvus books. Formerly known as “the project with the dragons,” it finally has an official (I'm serious... I'm not changing it again) name: The Line of Ash.
This one is devastating (obviously). Expect:
Dragons
A cursed royal line
Enough family drama to fuel a lifetime of therapy
A crumbling kingdom
Elemental magic in a way you may not have seen before
And a truly broody, morally gray MMC in a full enemies-to-lovers arc
The story follows Ravina and her daughter Allara—though Allara’s the true main character—as they wrestle with fate, magic, and the burning weight of legacy. Ravina will do anything to protect her daughter. But destiny has other plans.
Because you made it to the end of this chaotic blog post, I’ll reward you:
That’s it for now, friends. I’m off to go cry over my keyboard and probably get distracted drawing one of my characters.
Thanks for being here. For real.
Until next time,
🖤 LCB
